Netherlight Crucible is a new artifact system added in Patch 7.3. Players can customize the talent of artifact relic slot by Netherlight Crucible to infuse your artifacts and its skill.
To complete Netherlight Crucible, players must clear all of the quests in Argus and collect the Holy-light and Shadow Essence. In addition, the Crucible will not unlock until the third week of Patch 7.3 so things are staggered. This unlock is account-wide.
To get started, click on the Netherlight Crucible. This will open up a three-tier trait tree under the three relic slots and appear new different abilities. These trait skills are picked randomly. Even if the same two artifact relics, the talent of Tier 2 and Tier 3 are completely random, not always same.
To acquire the perfect talent skill, you need to gather a lot of artifact relics. It looks like the Relinquished Relic is very important by purchasing the Veiled Argunite.
Tier 1, Upgrade 5 item level of your artifact, no requirement for artifact trait ranks. It will active by unlocking the Netherlight Crucible.
Tier 2 and Tier 3, the talent skill can infuse some skills randomly. It needs the relative artifact ranks to unlock. Your artifact trait ranks should be 60. But, if you want to unlock all talent of the three relics, the artifact trait ranks should be 75. Even the knowledge level at 55, it requires the astronomical number of artifact power when artifact trait ranks at 75.
