Guide for How to Get Started in WoW Legion

  • 2016-08-31 15:06:48

Legion is live now! Have you got the news that a player has already hit the new level cap? the Twitch user Fragnance spent 5 hours and 28 minutes to reach level 110 with his demon hunter. It is worth to mention that Fragnance didn't make it from level 1 to 110, though. Players could create a demon hunter a week ago, and the new class starts at level 98. For most of players who want to explore in the new expansion Legion, here is a guide for getting started in Legion! Moreover, don’t forget to buy WoW gold if you desire to reach higher level within short time!

On the journey of reaching level 110, players need first find their Artifact weapon, but before that they will need to find the Broken Isles. To get to the new area, players will need to visit Dalaran as it is now positioned over the Broken Isles. World of Warcraft players that started or completed the quests leading up to the release of Legion will need to continue following those quests in order to find Dalaran’s new position. These quests begin with the Broken Shore scenario and conclude with receiving a Dalaran hearthstone as the city hovers above the Broken Isles.

If the Broken Shore scenario has been completed at least once, a character can skip the scenario and go straight to picking up their Dalaran hearthstone in the new Dalaran. This is done by taking the quest at login for the Broken Shore scenario and turning it in at the NPC at the Stormwind Harbor for Alliance or the Dranosh’ar Blockade for Horde. A new conversation option will be present at this NPC if another character has already picked up their Dalaran hearthstone, stating that the player has seen those events before and would like to skip them.

After reaching Dalaran, an NPC will likely contact the character, giving him or her the first quests leading to the character’s Order Hall. This quest will lead to picking up a new Artifact weapon including a scenario where the character obtains the new weapon. Returning the weapon to the Order Hall will let World of Warcraft players spend their first Artifact points unlocking some of the weapon’s power. At this point, players will not be able to send any champions out on missions; however, that feature will unlock after a bit of leveling of both the player and the Artifact weapon. Check out the Order Hall guide on WoWhead for a thorough overview of what Class Halls have to offer.

In Legion, players will find themselves pushing back the Burning Legion again as the force invades Azeroth. Throughout the expansion, heroes will explore the Broken Isles continent including its five major zones: Azsuna, Val’sharah, Highmountain, Stormheim, and Suramar. After picking up their Artifact weapon and visiting their class hall, players will choose between the first four zones to begin their adventure. Up until this point, most of what a player has completed has been instanced to them alone. Heading out to one of these four zones opens up the leveling experience to parties. These zones scale to the player, letting characters enter each of them at any time and in any order they wish. Even more can be learned about the expansion’s zones and new features at the official website. Each zone has its own story and raises the player’s faction with a specific reputation in Legion.

At the new maximum level of 110, players will find that a wealth of new quests open up across the Broken Isles. These World Quests are available for a limited amount of time, offering greater rewards for missions with longer availability. World Quests are the same for everyone on a server; however, they come in an array of varieties. Some can be completed alone, some in a small group, and some require a dungeon to be completed. Not to mention, profession quests, pet battling quests, and even PvP quests are possible World Quests.

According to reports, other aspects of the expansion are yet to go live. On September 20, the first Legion PvP season will begin and Mythic Keystones will begin dropping. The latter makes Mythic dungeons much more difficult according to MMO-Champion. Additionally, The Emerald Nightmare raid will open on that date. On September 27, a Mythic version of The Emerald Nightmare will open alongside the first wing of the raid in the World of Warcraft Raid Finder.
