The official Twitter account has tweeted a video with the word “13 years ago today, World of Warcraft launched in Europe! When did you create your first character?” It seems a very common video which using the stock footage of Vintage of World of Warcraft to celebrate the WoW’s 13th anniversary. According to the players on World of Warcraft subreddit, if you watch the video carefully, you will find out that the video contains new HD shadows which were introduced in the Wrath of Lich King expansion. Actually the new high-definition shadow came out 4 years after the base game.  But is this the footage from Wrath of Lich King? Not exactly for the spawning positions for new characters and NPC’s were changed in Wrath of the Lich King.
