After the release of Kebos expansion, OSRS officially announced that they are going to improve some old contents. Chambers of Xeric will be a stater. According to developers, new changes will focus on room balancing and Xeric's Ward scrolls. Raiditem.com is glad to reveal the details for you. Besides, you are highly welcomed to visit our site for cheap rs07 gold and rs 2007 weapons if you meet any challenge in Kebos expansion. Now let's find out the new changes together!
Room balancing
In the Creature Keeper's room with the chests, a raid in Challenge Mode currently gives 5x points as you deposit grubs, and this may available to standard raids too. The Thieving level restriction will be removed, so that everyone in the party can contribute there; for parties with a wide range of levels, this should be a big help. A higher level will remain advantageous, but they'll reduce the scaling so that lower level players are able to contribute more effectively.
The Ice Demon's braziers currently encourage you to light them when carrying as much wood as possible, since that's more beneficial than adding it later. That distinction won't exist any longer, so that it'll be just as effective to replenish a brazier after it's lit. Besides, developers will reduce the portal's health regeneration to 1/3 of its current rate, and to offer +2 more points per HP damage damage dealt to it, making the room a little more rewarding.
Tekton's defence will be reduced by 25%, making it less dependent on defence-reducing attacks. It will also be made a bit less sensitive so that it's less likely to return to the anvil abruptly without trying to hit anyone. The Vanguard don't always reset correctly if hit at the moment that they're starting their rearrangement trick. Apparently, players will benefit after the changes are done, perhaps it will be less difficult for you to farm OSRS gold and other important items.
Xeric's Ward scrolls
Rather than just leaving you to keep re-randomising the cave blindly, you can earn something that influences what rooms you get, earning it by raiding in the Chambers. To that end, Xeric's Ward scrolls is what we need.
Xeric created a range of scrolls to repel the various denizens of the Chambers. One type keeps Vespula at bay, another works on Vasa Nistirio, another works on the Creature Keeper's monster, etc. Through the power of these scrolls, Xeric's forces were able to navigate the Chambers with reduced chances of encountering the various threats. The scrolls were abandoned in the Chambers when Xeric moved on, and now may occasionally be found by a raiding party.
A scroll would be given in addition to the existing loot, without affecting the chances of receiving other items; Xeric's reward chest will be expanded to accommodate this and the clue scroll change described above. Scrolls would be tradeable, and would have a cash value that lets you alch them for 6k coins if you don't want them.
These new changes will change the way you play in Chambers of Xeric but in a good way. More new features will be available in OSRS, and raiditem.com will keep updating the latest information for you.
